10th Red Charity Gala: Fashion for philanthropy

Style icons Tessa Prieto-Valdes and Kaye Tinga launched recently the 10th Red Charity Gala last October 27, 2017 at the Marriot Hotel Manila’s Grand Ballroom, the Philippines’ biggest ballroom.

Prieto-Valdes and Tinga, the driving forces behind what is probably the most awaited fashion event for a cause in the country, gave the event, which will feature designer Rajo Laurel, a fitting launch at the elegant Champagne Room of the historic Manila Hotel. 

Laurel, who is marking his 25th year in the local fashion industry, is presenting the collection Archipelago that draws inspiration from Philippine culture and history and well-known tourist attractions. The clothes will use indigenous materials adapted to current trends.
