During the launch held at Maybank Performance Arts
Theater, the mentors moms and a peek at
what is in store for their kids during this year’s i-Shine Talent Camp: Moms
and kids had fun when teachers Robert Alejandro and Kara Escay of the Art camp
stretched kids’ imagination by creating a cat and dog out of the word “iShine”;
Maestro Ryan Cayabyab gave a short lesson about the four elements of music;
while Dance camp master Georcelle
Dapat-Sy, accompanied by G-FORCE members, called kids and parents on stage to
execute basic dance steps.
For acting enthusiasts, Audie Gemora of the Theatre camp
taught kids how to act out different emotions using the phrase “Nurture the
gift”; while Ballet camp master Liza Macuja-Elizalde had dancers from Ballet
Manila perform a 6-minute adagio from Act 2 of The Nutcracker.
Promil’s philosophy is to instill the importance of not
only proper nutrition, but also proper parenting and guidance to fully support
a child’s proper growth and mental development. This is in line with the
brand’s advocacy of actively involving parents in helping nurture the gift of
their child.
The launch was hosted by Dimples Romana, who has been
hosting the i-Shine Talent Camp for 10 years now.
