Avida Land, one of the leading mid-market real estate developers in the country, recently celebrated Grand Neighbor Day with a series of fun and exciting activities that brought families, friends and communities together, hoping to rekindle the spirit of neighborly values among residents.
Now on its 2nd year, Avida’s GND celebration adapted the
theme “Better Together” in enjoining seven of its communities nationwide
encompassing both condominium and house and lot communities. Among the
communities that joined include San Rafael Estates and San Antonio Heights in
Batangas, Avida Village Northpoint in Bacolod, Avida Towers Vita in Vertis
North, Avida Towers 9th Ave in Bonifacio Global City, and Centrio Tower in
Cagayan de Oro.
“We are delighted to have hosted once again the Grand
Neighbor Day where we were able to further forge a deeper sense of
neighborliness amongst our residents and communities. This has been our formula
for a great neighborhood, to foster good relationships because it’s always
better together. That’s what make Avida stand out as a real estate developer,”
said Avida Marketing Head, Tess Tatco.
The celebration was kicked off with residents reciting the
Grand Neighbor Pledge, a hallmark tradition which encourages residents to
rekindle among themselves, the spirit of ‘neighborly values’ or pakikipagkapwa.
Avida residents were then treated to the fun and exciting
activities that encouraged residents to reach out to new friends next door.
Among the activities were community building games, which
truly proved to be effective as it created a sense of trust and security among
the residents. Meanwhile, kids and kids at heart also enjoyed a Halloween Trick
or Treat in celebration of Halloween.
Kids and kids at heart also got to try their painting
skills with the Avida ‘Wall of Smile’, installed in all participating
communities. The participants were also able to snap creative poses using the
life-sized window frames that they then shared on social media.
Adding to the success of the celebration is the Dati Puti
Perfect Adobo Challenge in partnership with NutriAsia. The cooking competition
was hosted to the communities in Batangas, Metro Manila and Bacolod, which paid
tribute to the beloved traditional Filipino dish “adobo” using the perfect
pares of Datu Puti Toyo at Suka.
The residents were challenged to create their most creative
and innovative version of adobo using the Datu Puti products. Winners received
home appliances as their prizes. And in addition, all participants meanwhile
received a Datu Puti Adobo Series Pack.
“The activities for this year’s Grand Neighbor Day were all
crafted with the “Better Together” thought in mind. And we were really glad to
see the Avida residents interacting and having fun at the same time. This way,
we hope that the residents have forged a mentality that there’s a neighbor next
door that they can count on anytime,” stressed by Tatco.
“A positive and happy community is the kind of place people
would want to be in. That’s why creating initiatives such as the Grand Neighbor
Day is our way to build a sustainable community of inspired and motivated
people. And through this, we hope to attract potential residents who would want
to be part of the Avida family. This year was huge and we can’t wait for the
next Grand Neighbor Day to begin as we are doubling our efforts to reach more
people out there looking for their dream home,” concluded by Tatco.
