Cove Manila Teams Up with EDC China to bring Flux Pavilion to Manila

The Electric Daisy Festival is this weekend in Shanghai, China. But if you can't make the trip, Cove Manila and EDC China have teamed up to bring Flux Pavilion to Manila this Saturday, April 28.

Flux Pavilion, or Joshua Steele in real life, came into the limelight in 2008 when his track "Cheap Crisps" was released digitally and became an instant hit. A year later, he co-founded Circus Records with his childhood friend, “Doctor P”. In the same year, he released the album Lines of Wax that contained one of his most popular tracks, “I Can’t Stop”.

His career continued to take off and in 2011, “Bass Cannon” was released and peaked on the UK Singles Chart at Number 56.  What contributed even more to Flux Pavilion’s success was when his track “I Can’t Stop” was sampled for the song “Who Gon Stop Me” by Jay-Z and Kanye West on their collaborative album Watch the Throne. The following year, the track was used in the KONY 2012 campaign and became part of the soundtrack to the films The Great Gatsby and Rush in 2013.

In November 2013, Flux Pavilion released the Freeway EP with its hit track “Gold Love”. Among the featured artists on the EP are collaborations with Steve Aoki and Turin Bakes.

Come join the festivities at Cove Manila and bounce to the stylish beats of Flux Pavilion! Ticket prices start at Php 500++. Doors open at 10:30 pm.
