SM Supermalls bagged the
Silver award, under the ‘Best PR Campaign: Entertainment’ category for SM
Little Stars – the Philippines' biggest mall-based, kiddie-talent search – at
the recently concluded Marketing Magazine’s PR Awards 2019, held at Swissotel
Merchant Court in Singapore.
SM is the sole Philippine shopping mall brand to
receive a PR Award, and was the only Philippine brand shortlisted in the
category, along with entertainment brands FOX Networks Group, Netflix, BBC
Studios, and Singapore’s Red Roof Records. Held annually in SM malls all over
the country, SM Little Stars aims to help kids ages 4 to 7 develop their
talents, confidence, sportsmanship, and camaraderie through a series of
workshops mentored by well-known celebrities. Conferred in Singapore, the PR
Awards 2019 is the definitive awards programme for all PR professionals, and
serves both as an affirmation of the quality of work amongst competitors and
peers, and a crucial tool to celebrate the wealth of talent and expertise among
PR teams.
