UNIOIL PETROLEUM PHILIPPINES, INC. OPENS ITS SECOND ELECTRIC VEHICLE FAST
CHARGING STATION IN UNIOIL EDSA GUADALUPE, MAKATI LAST WEDNESDAY, JUNE 27,
2018.
Unioil successfully opened to
the public its second Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station located at Unioil
EDSA Guadalupe (Northbound) Station in Makati City to conveniently serve
customers with electric vehicles passing through EDSA, the main thoroughfare of
Metro Manila. Unioil’s fast EV charging station can safely and conveniently
charge a variety of US, European, and Japanese electric vehicles.
Unioil was the first petroleum company in the Philippines
that launched an Electric Vehicle (EV) charging facility last November 27, 2017
at Unioil Congressional Avenue Extension, Quezon City, Metro Manila.
Unioil President, Kenneth C. Pundanera said, “We are proud
to open today Unioil’s second electric vehicle charging station located at
Unioil Edsa Guadalupe, Makati. This EV
charging station is equipped with the latest Chademo fast charging protocol
compatible with most Japanese, US and European cars. We want to encourage more people to begin
considering the use of electric powered vehicles. We want to make available the infrastructure
needed to pave the way for much cleaner forms of transportation. This is consistent with Unioil’s advocacy to
find ways in Doing our Part for a cleaner environment.”
