Pioneer Adhesives Supports Mangrove Rehabilitation Efforts

Part of its undying efforts to help conserve, protect, and rehabilitate the environment is Pioneer Adhesives’ support for the recently-concluded Run for Mangroves 2018 which was held at Alaminos City, Pangasinan.
The city is renowned for its vast mangrove areas, chief of which is the Bued Mangrove Forest Park, where new mangrove trees were planted during the 2nd Hundred Islands Paraw Festival (HIPF) as well as the Shore It Up 10th Anniversary. Around 1,000 participants planted mangroves and joined the run. Alaminos City Mayor Arthur F. Celeste extended his gratitude to everyone who volunteered to help make the event successful. Shortly after the event, he also emphasized in a speech that the protection of the city’s marine environment is a shared responsibility of the government, the people, and various stakeholders. This reminder and challenge is accepted well by Pioneer Adhesives. “It is a joy and honor for us to support environmental causes such as Run for Mangroves 2018. As a company, we are mainly committed to help rehabilitate this planet—our only home. Expect us to continue furthering this cause,” said Martina Spakowski, Executive Director of Pioneer Foundation.
